There are a wide range of typing services available to suit your needs. Please note that this list is not exhaustive, if there is any type of work that you need completing and it does not appear on the website, please contact me to discuss the same. I will be happy to assist you in any way I can.
Copy editing
Documents/transcripts hand written or typed can be copy edited. This can be typed by KMS Typing Services and then copy edited thereafter, as this service includes typing and proofreading it brings a charge of £36.00 for the first 2000 words and £36.00 pro rata thereafter.
Copy typing
Can involve anything from hand written letters, CV’s, (using client’s specific format) assignments and reports, transcripts and legal documentation. The list is endless.
Audio transcription
This can include legal documentation, letter writing, form filling, note taking, memo writing, author transcriptions and narratives in a Costs Draftsmen’s firm or even assignments.
Immediate dictation over the telephone
This includes letter writing, note taking and memos which can be done over the phone or via Skype. Skype is a free download to your computer and enables the user to record voicemails of dictation at their convenience. There will be no need for anyone to be on the other end of the call, simply leave your dictation to be typed. Please indicate on the voicemail your name, contact number or email and deadline for the work before beginning any dictation. Please contact KMS for further information on this service.
Proofreading
Any typed or hand written document that needs a second pair of eyes. This includes grammar, punctuation and spelling checks. If the document is already typed and you simply wish for this to be proofread please indicate whether you want track changes or for the corrections to just be made.
Letter writing
Any letter length accepted. This could be a letter for a job application, letter of complaint or even a letter to a utility company! Nothing is exempt.
Manuscripts
Authors can use this service to have any hand written manuscripts typed up completely hassle free. This can also be used via audio transcription should the author wish to dictate their work. Turnaround for this can be longer than 24 hours and should be discussed at the time of completion of the order form.
Legal documents
Statements for clients and affidavits can be typed from audio transcription or hand written documents that can be scanned and emailed. Particulars of divorce petitions or Consent Orders can also be typed.
Assignments, Reports and Dissertations
Students can use this service for their hand written assignments and/or dissertations so that strict deadlines can be met. This enables the student to concentrate on other assignments that they may have whilst having the benefit of a proofread, grammar checked and accurately typed document being returned to them. Hand written reports or audio transcribed reports can also be typed, proofread and grammar checked.
Portfolio typing
PACE and Duty Solicitors can use this service to have their Portfolios for their Accreditation typed up quickly and accurately. There are many other scenarios whereby Portfolios are used, as long as the format is instructed then any type of Portfolio can be typed.
ROTIS
Transcription typing for Police interviews is charged at a separate rate of £1.60 per minute of transcription.
